OpenAI launches partner network and invests US$150 million to build enterprise AI ecosystem

OpenAI launches Partner Network, plans to invest US$150 million to support partners, and aims to train 300,000 certified AI consultants by the end of 2026.

OpenAI officially launched the OpenAI Partner Network (OPN), aiming to accelerate the deployment of enterprise AI through the partner ecosystem. OpenAI plans to invest $150 million to support partners, including systems integrators, consulting firms and technology service providers.

OPN’s core goals include training 300,000 certified AI consultants by the end of 2026 to provide standardized AI transformation services to enterprise customers. Partners will receive technical training, marketing support and joint sales opportunities.

The first batch of partners to join OPN include top global consulting firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC, as well as a number of medium-sized service providers focusing on AI implementation. OpenAI stated that the establishment of OPN is a key step in OpenAI's transformation from "API provider" to "enterprise AI platform".

The launch of this partner network marks OpenAI's strategy in the enterprise market from "selling APIs" to "selling solutions." Although the investment scale of US$150 million is not huge, the goal of 300,000 certified consultants shows OpenAI’s long-term commitment to ecological construction. Comparing Microsoft's Azure AI partner system and AWS's generative AI competency center, OpenAI is building its own enterprise service moat.
