Microsoft announced on June 16 that Copilot Cowork is officially available, positioning it as the "execution layer" of Microsoft 365. Microsoft pushed Copilot Cowork from preview to generally available (GA) on June 16, and its positioning of this product marks a key leap in Microsoft's enterprise AI: "execution layer". Users can delegate long-term, multi-step, cross-application work tasks, and the Agent coordinates the workflow, calls skills (Skills) and integration, while maintaining user control.
